Hey people! What's goings on? I have alot to talk about so let's see if my fingers can keep up with my mind. First, I went home for Father's Day. I was so happy to be back home. I was scheduled to sing at this concert-type thing at AHOP but I was late. Let start from the beginning. I started packing the night before I was scheduled to leave. Takeyla was over so I wasn't getting too much done but we ended up cleaning the car and straightening out my house. She took me to the airport and kept my car for the weekend. I was taking my time because history taught me that Tulsa Airport was not crowded....sike! I was trippin' cause everybody and their momma was up in there. Then I had to the "special" body search in a private room. I had on a spaghetti-strap sundress w/ a denim jacket. I didn't want to take my jacket off in public so we went into a room. I went to my gate and my boarding pass was in the "C" class so by the time I got on the plane, all the seats were taken. I had to sit between these two guys. I was upset and cramped cause I ain't no small girl. By the time I got to Chicago, I was tired and cranky. Then to walk forever to the baggage claim in heels was hell. I got my bags and went outside to wait for my mom and she was late. The good thing about it all was that I was sitting outside and this guy flirted with me. That was exactly what I needed considering I had been feeling like Quasimodo. She pulls up in this humongous yellow Hummer. I was kinda embarrased by it 'cause people were looking like I was so rapper. My mom has lost so much weight. She looked good though...like a young woman. She said that her medicine was doing that to her. That's not good so, everyone, keep her in your prayers. When I got home, guess what I did? Went on errands for her. She sent me, Clarycia, and Darrence grocery shopping. I loved the Hummer's satallite radio. It had stations for each decade: 40's through the 90's. After shopping, I took Mom to get her hair done and she sent me shopping to get something for the concert. I had no idea what to get and I was tired and in pain, so I went home. I ran into Daddy and I ate a salad and....two pieces of KFC. I checked his blood sugar and then Mom called. She said that she had been waiting on me for 1/2 hour to pick her up. I run out the door to pick her up and drop the bad news: I didn't find nothing at the store. She was disturbed at me but quickly got over it. We ran to Lane Bryant and got some GREAT clothes. Christyn picked out some underwear for me considering someone stole all of mine from the dryer in my apartment complex. We run home and quickly change. Then we must get some gas 'cause it was on E! Traffic was crazy. By the time we got there, it was 9:30 pm! The concert started at 7:30 pm. Was I late or was I late???? He called me up after giving props to everyone. People were ready to go so I sang "In The Name Of Jesus" a few times and sat down. I was going to get bucked but the moment had passed. They were probably tired. After the concert, I got to see all of my people. Clauzel's crazy butt came and spoke - first time since he's been married. I saw Latisha, Tara (not Mrs. Jackson), Earl, T-Bone, Gloria, Sis. Smith, Gary and TANISHA!!! She was so big and cute. She was pregnant. I hardly recognized her. I asked to see her stomach but she wouldn't show me. :( I saw Kesha's condo and it was beautiful. I also went to Delilah's condo. Her taste is so much like mine. She painted her dining room RED!!!! Y'all know that my bedroom is red/white and I dream of a red room. It was beautiful. And her and Tara's dogs were too adorable. They were having a field day with my long skirt and we took them walking so they could go to the bathroom. Now remind you that I haven't slept, rested or changed my shoes yet. So my feet were killing me. I couldn't stay still 'cause they hurt so much. That night, I got home about 3:30 am and slept on the couch. Candace was mad at me (what's that you say? What else is new?) 'cause I didn't want to go out with her, Earl, Toya, Shannon & Gwen. So that morning, I had to kiss her butt to keep peace. That day, I hung out with my family until everyone left and then I went with Candace and the girls to this guy's house. He was doing the fliers and tickets for the Anniversary week. I fell asleep on dude's couch...snoring and slobbing. Find out that he knows Chyna and Jermaine. Speaking of Jermaine, I called him and we were supposed to get together but I was too tired. Next time definitely!!!! Arthur and Tarrance cooked dinner for me and that was so nice. I loved hanging out with my family! I miss hanging out with my family! And I love living on my own. I just need to graduate so I can move back to Chicago into a condo like Dellah's. I stayed up all night 'cause once again, Candace was acting like an a$$. I was going to go to church with my Dady but I didn't get up in time. We didn't get to church until 1:30pm. What the hell?!?!? I am always late for something, ya know? I go to the balcony and I am sitting in the hallway. Who walks past and speaks to me by name? Darren Crawford. I didn't even think he knew me but I guess he do. I keep a low profile 'cause...that's the new me. Y'all know! The Father's Day luncheon was nice. Brett M.C.ed. I saw Timothy (Mr. Jackson). We had so much fun. And Tara and Dellah had me crackin' up! We made future plans for when I come back in July. Lil' Art stepped outta place so I had to put him back. That boy needs prayer, y'all. That night, I hung out with my parents and went to the airport, which was crowded, around 5am. Why is the airport open, let alone crowded, at 5am? I slept the entire way back but I slept so hard that I hurt myself. I think my foot was twisted in the wrong way 'cause my feet and ankles were so swollen! It hurt to just walk. They stayed swollen for a whole week. I finally soaked in a hot bath and massaged my ankles and feet. The next morning, the swelling and pain was gone! Hallalujah! Oh yeah, I saw lil' Denise. She is so adorable!!!! And Kiersten stayed at the house Friday night. She is so busy! I cooked breakfast for everyone and she kept eating. But she is my sweetheart! Next, I have a plan for school. I know...I know....I've had millions of plans but this one is the most recent. I plan on doing the (3) HPE classes the last session of summer school. Then I plan on going full-time at ALPG so they can pay for (2) of my classes and I will go on TMS to pay monthly the rest of the tuition. Since I am off-campus, the tuition ain't that expensive. So that is my plan. I will finish EVERYTHING by December 'cause I got Takeyla, Barbara, and Tanya pushing me to finish. Now, I plan on finishing my place. I am going to decorate a centerpiece for my table. I want it to be green and tangerine. Then I am going to buy a large wooden clock for the wall in the dining room that matches the table. Next, I am buying a glass entertainment center for my TV and VCR/DVD player. I am watching two end tables for the living room. They are so gorgeous! I bought two white lamps for the living room on clearance. Now I am looking for a computer desk that can hold my laptop, printer, lamp, and have room for me to do my homework. I am also buying a plushy comfortable chair so I can be comfortable doing my homework. I am debating on whether on buying bedroom furniture. I have made it this far without it and I would love to buy a set - headboard, dresser w/mirror, nightstand, etc. But that is what I plan on doing so far. I told Tara that I would take pictures so she could see what it looks like. We talk all the time about decorating our houses. Tanya Lee and I are going shopping to pick out some stuff 'cause I love her taste. And besides, we need to hang out 'cause she needs a break. Her mom was sick but thank God she's being healed everyday. And she's doing a full course of summer school. Then later that day, Tanya Williams and I are going to OKC for this family barbeque. I am going to dress up 'cause you never know about people's families. I may meet someone.I made all these old skool CDs for Candace. I got every song you can think of. I was working on that project for a whole month. I even made some for my Dad but he didn't know many of the songs so we gotta redo them when I get back home. Takeyla went crazy when she heard some of the songs. John-Dennis didn't hear them 'cause he probably got many of the R&B songs. I don't think he was into rap so no need in bringing him into this. Like right now, I am listening to a compliation of Brian McKnight. Last night, this dude called me and asked me to make him some Jodeci CDs. He was a stranger but since he's friends with Nadege and Keyda, I took my laptop over and he made some CDs. He and Nadege left and I ended up staying watching this movie, Deadlock. I hadn't seen that movie in soooooooo long but I LOVED IT! It was about this guy who got tricked by his friends during a robbery and sent to prison. This prison put these bombs around their necks and when they were separated from their "wedlock" partner, the bomb went off. I found out that I have lost some inches. Some of my skirts fit me differently now. I am motivated to continue with my new lifestyle. All I gotta do is incorporate exercise into it. I started walking 3miles but my chest would begin to hurt. And now I am having chronic pains in my ankles but that will not deter me at all.Last night, I had a dream about Nate. In the dream, I was hugged up with him and was not afraid of what people would think or say. I was just hoping that my dad would not catch me. What is going on with me and thinking about him? It's almost scary that I am thinking about him. It may be 'cause all of my "options" are gone! I even found his old phone number and address. Is it still good? We'll find out when I get back home. ;) Anyways, there's a new guy on the block. We'll see how that works! Well, nothing else right now. In a while , John-Dennis and I are taking Keyda to the airport. She's going home to Philly. TTYL.
