HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
It's good to see another year, isn't it? Especially in these bleak times. I am so excited about 2009. For the first time, I am expecting God to do something spectacular in my life. It doesn't have to material but something is going to change. I just think on how and where I was last year (and year before that) and how I didn't expect ANYTHING to happen. And I think on how I tried to do things my way. And I think on how I backslid without ever missing church or Bible class. And I think on how Satan had a stronghold in my life....I am just grateful to be here today in my right mind.
I miss Tulsa!!! Ain't that crazy? I was just telling Tanya the other day how I miss driving down Riverside...going to Lubys after church on Sundays...driving to Greater Grace on Sunday morning and Wednesday night...walking the boys around the complex at night...going to my mailbox...going to Walmart...going to the $1.00 show...going to Garden Ridge....going antique shopping...going to Albersons....driving around Tulsa....I just miss it! I miss my friends but since they're not there, why should I go back? Takeyla, J.D., Tanya, Kamiel and especially Barbara aren't there. Yeah Neicey, LaKendra, Aaron, and Kristin are still there but...I don't know.
