My first date

I had a date for the first time in over a year. And I had a good time. I didn't realize how beautiful this city is. We didn't get in until like 5am. Of course I was crazy tired but I had a good time. And now he's over again for dinner and movies. I really like him. Let me tell you where I met him. I met him at the wawa's while I was pumping gas. I noticed him walking in the store and thought that he was a fine strapping man. But I was just getting off work dealing with crazy folks all day so I looked a hot mess. I didn't realize how dealing with these people will swamp all your energy. I remember how tired and sad I was when working on the prayer lines but I thought that was just dealing with Pastor Bill and Brian. But no....dealing with people's problems is tiresome. Anyways, when he came out he walked right pass me and smiled. I smiled back and kept pumping gas....this car is a gas-guzzler and I'm sick of it. I'm about to buy a bike lol. Back to the story...I get in the car to drive off and he comes up to my car and introduces himself. I tell him my name and he asks where I'm from because I don't have the east coast accent. To make a long story short, we go for coffee from the gas station. After coffee, he asks me if I would like to go out on Friday night. I tell him yes and its on from there. We went to this real nice Italian restaurant and then to this comedy club and then walked around downtown. Then we went to this nice jazz club. After all of that, it was like 5am. But I had fun. So now he's on the way for dinner and movies. I don't have a clue as to what to cook. This date has been the highlight of my week. All I have been doing is work and paperwork. However, talking to Hunter is giving me some ideas about how to expand this program and even start it in Chicago. Anyways, gotta go! I've been checking emails, facebook, returning emails, sending emails, and blogging for the past hour. XOXO
